Request a Winlsow Wonderland Cut Out
The Tyngsborough Recreation Committee would like to challenge you to participate in the Snowman & Tree Contest to create “Winslow Wonderland” on the town common.
What is it and how does it work?
Businesses, organizations or families pickup the unique 4ft or 8ft wooden snowman and/or Tree from the Recreation Department. Use your crafty side and paint, decorate, embellish your snowman into your work of art. All snowmen will be set-up on the common along Winslow Road by November 12 by 5:30 PM.
Beginning at 5:00PM on November 24th, the community is invited to participate by going to “Winslow Wonderland” at your leisure, for strolling and picture taking. Our unique snowman and trees are perfect for pictures of the season! Voting will take place between November 24-December 3 on our Facebook page (@TyngsboroughRec). Highest number of “likes” each snowman and tree picture receives, wins a category. Winners will be announced on December 9th in the following categories:
$25 gift card prizes will be awarded to 8 entries for the following categories:
Best Traditional tree or snowman
Most Creative tree or snowman
Best of Show tree or snowman
Most “Tyngsborough” tree or snowman
The snowmen will stay on display during December-January
